I continue my living estate sale with a fine 10.5 tall Sui Dynasty terra cotta Lady Court Figure with estimated from the 6th century. Many years ago I sent it off for verification to Barneby's and had that confirmed. This was long before internet so I had no idea of potential value at the time. Although it certainly is a nice piece, it's overall condition does limit its' appraised valuation. A female royal court attendee would likely be the best classification without more detail or dress color to verify a higher standing.
Along with its' 10.5" height, the base is 2.5" at its' widest point. I did include one photo from a 1STDIBS listing of the same figurine in much better condition, but much much pricier. Mainly I included it for further verification of style and age.
