VTG Chinese Jade Jadeite Green Serpentine Guan Yin Goddess Budista Figure 11

Description: This figure is a beautiful piece that showcases the rich cultural heritage of China. The statue is handcarved to create a stunning image of the Guan Yin goddess, a spiritual figure that is highly revered in Chinese Buddhism.

The figurine stands at 11 inches tall and is 3 inches wide. The base of the piece appears to have once been adhered to a wooden stand. The wooden stand has been removed and is not included with the standalone piece. Remnants from the past wood application are evident on the base of the piece (please see last 2 pictures for details).

It is certainly meant to resemble jade, although I do not know whether it is or not. I'm choosing to describe this piece as "jade-like".

It could be another material. Flaws: There are some small marks/discolorations on the piece. Please review all pictures for details and ask any questions in advance.
